The Soprano Choir from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring sixteen singers, who can not only sing the soprano's whole tonal range, but also harmonically blend in with the group's overall sound. A standout from this library is the sampled vocal legato - the Soprano Choir's Legato Performance Patches - that renders these fluid notes very naturally within the Vienna Instruments player.Articulations include the vowels 'U' (ooh) and 'A' (aah) as staccatos, sustains, legato sustains, crescendos and diminuendos, fortepianos and sforzatos. In addition, there are staccatos of the syllables 'ra', 'sa', and 'ta'.

Solo Voices from the Vienna Symphonic Library takes on the task of recording the oldest and most expressive musical instrument. To achieve a homogenous timbre over the full register of the human voice, four female voices (coloratura soprano, soprano, mezzo soprano, alto) and three male voices (tenor, baritone, bass) were selected.Multiple takes were performed to achieve perfect tone, intonation and consistency. As a result the collection allows for an accurate and authentic realization of polyphonic vocal repertoire, both as a cappella performances, or in various other instrumental combinations. The Vienna Whistler from the Vienna Symphonic Library is a sample-based virtual instrument featuring the whistling prowess of Marcus Schmidinger, who incidentally has performed on all of the horn instruments included in the Brass I and Brass II Collections, both as a soloist as well as a member of the horn ensemble on the Epic Horns. As a whistler, Schmidinger possesses a very homogeneous timbre over a wide key range of approximately two octaves.
